Case Study: Osseo, Wisconsin Storm Damage Restoration Project

CLIENT PROFILE & NEED

This Osseo WI customer had damage from a recent hail storm. Their one story home and garage sure took a beating. They requested multiple estimates and decided to go with Kingdom Contracting. They chose Timberline Architectural Shingle in Slate. To speed up the job, we had the shingles delivered directly to the roof to maximize time and safety.

PROCESS & CHALLENGES

In our preliminary inspection we found wood in various areas that needed to be replaced. Originally the low pitch/flat part of the roof over the garage was shingled. Since the climate in Wisconsin has feet of snow and ice build/melt, this area is very susceptible to ice dams. These dams allow water to leak up under the shingles and into your home. We resolved this problem by using heavy duty flat roof material and minimizing the seams.

The end product turned out fantastic and the customer was thrilled. Thumbs up! Another good job and great customer.
